The channel's rules, handled for you

Every platform has limits. Hena checks them before a message leaves, so you are not surprised by a failed send.

  • One Arabic SMS holds 70 characters; longer messages split into parts of 67, and each part is charged.
  • Promotional sender names are marked: in Saudi Arabia they end with -AD, in the UAE they start with AD-.
  • Promotional messages are sent only during allowed hours, which differ by country; in Egypt, not on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Links in messages may need to be registered in advance in some countries.
How Arabic SMS is counted
1 part
up to 70 letters
2 parts
up to 134 letters
3 parts
up to 201 letters

One emoji or symbol outside the basic set switches the whole message to this counting. Hena shows the parts and the cost as you type.
